I knew that April 23rd was a good day. Earlier this evening, a friend and I were discussing Lana Del Rey's new single for The Great Gatsby film ("Young and Beautiful"--listen to it because it's amazing). The conversation was focused on the line "Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful" and our topic was does old age necessarily mean "not beautiful." At which point, I wrote: "I hope I age well."

Which is monumental.

Because "I hope I age well" implies, "I hope I age." Which is a sentiment I haven't felt or expressed in over six years. 

So yes. Just thought I'd share.
